Something new! Weekly ideas on Monday evening

Updated: Feb 7, 2022

Hello! :) In addition to writing frequently for the Christian Science periodicals, this website will now update weekly with new ideas. It's been fun to share via an online office, and I've always found writing to be a natural result of the daily CS practice.

Every Monday night at 9PM EST USA, I'll post a short idea for the week relating to a healing topic -- Derived from the Bible or from Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. It will be nice to have a little predictability with postings, and I'm looking forward to it. Sometimes I'll share a healing experience, or a supporting story to back up the greater topic.

You'll find fresh ideas about God. Per usual, in my writing I never include personal opinions or theories, so needless to say, nothing changes. :)

I've found that in anything we do, we should: 1. Stick to the books.

2. "Give them a cup of cold water in Christ's name, and never fear the consequences."

(SH, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 570:16–18)

3. "Love for God and man is the true incentive in both healing and teaching. Love inspires, illumines, designates, and leads the way. Right motives give pinions to thought, and strength and freedom to speech and action."

(SH, Mary Baker Eddy, p. 454:17–21)

Originally this site was designed to be an additional support/resource to those I work with, but I have loved to witness those new to these ideas discovering and appreciating them, too. On this site, you can find links to resources for spiritual study where you can find study materials, the christianscience.com website and more. A lot of people right now are seeking permanent physical/mental health solutions, and are yearning to feel more free from fear. More than just positive thinking, people are want true, reliable inspiration. So, it will be fun to learn together and draw from the books in this way.

This website can send notifications when Monday updates happen if you put your email in the subscription box here. This link also leads you to the contact form where you can send in ideas for topics you hope to see covered.

Have a lovely evening,

Elaina
